A step in the right direction.
In a country as prosperous as Canada, no child should ever have to go without basic necessities such as shoes and boots. Through our Footwear Program, we purchase hundreds of pairs of new winter boots and shoes and distribute them to area children lacking these items. Typically, we spend between $90,000 to $100,000 annually to supply footwear to children in the community.
Here’s how it works:
- Parent contacts their child’s school Principal to request an application
for the Windsor Goodfellows Shoe Program - Principal fills out application and gives it to the parent
- Parent then delivers the application to the Windsor Goodfellows
